¤ Bangalore ¤
Bangalore is the capital of the state of Karnataka and is the seventh largest city of India. This Garden City has well - laid out parks, gardens, long avenues of blossoming trees and salubrious climate. Emerging as the hi-tech capital of India, it still retains a charm that is totally Indian. Founded in 1537 by a local Chieftain Kempe Gowda, Bangalore has changed dramatically over the years. Bangalore has developed into one of India's major economic hubs and is today counted among the best places in the world to do business. For many years, Bangalore was known throughout India as the greenest, liberal and forward-thinking city. In recent years, these attributes have propelled Bangalore to the forefront of the high-tech industry boom in India, and it currently ranks as India's most developed city and one of the world's fastest growing urban areas.
¤ Chennai ¤
Chennai City is one of the most important Metro cities in India. Chennai has a very vibrant culture. The reason behind this cultural dynamism is the fact that Chennai, since decades, has remained a focal point of Dravidian movements, be it political or cultural. Due to its stress on a particular form of movement Chennai has not developed to be a heterogeneous society as some of its neighboring cities such as Banglore and Vishakhapatnam are. Nevertheless Chennai is desperately trying to put off this baggage now and is catching up with cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad. The city is spread over an area of 200 square kilometers along the Bay of Bengal and is relatively clean. You can find verdant green patches amidst the high-tech, high-rise buildings. Chennai is a city where the tradition and the modernism have a subtle blend. From traditional south Indian courses to fast food joints, from ancient temple architecture to modern high-rises, from Carnatic music and dance to groves in discotheques, Chennai has them all.

¤ Mysore ¤
Mysore was the political capital of the Wodeyar dynasty which ruled the state of Karnataka for some 150 years till the independence of the country from the British. These kings were great patrons of art and culture and Mysore was the cultural capital of the south under the rule of the Wodeyars. The Wodeyars made the Dushehra festival an event to showcase the rich culture and heritage of the town. Even to this date this celebration of the Dushehra which is a 10 day celebration during the month of Oct/ Nov is a spectacular event to watch. Mysore is a city of palaces, gardens, shady avenues and sacred temples and retains some of the charm of the old world with its many institutions that propagate Carnatic Classical music and dance.
¤ Kovalam ¤
A former fishing village, Kovalam is just 16 km away from Thiruvanantapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala's capital city. Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. It is a dreamy place for tourists all over the world. Today Kovalam beach is known as the "Paradise of the South".With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. Over the past three decades, the place has been well developed, and now figures prominently on the world tourism map.
